| Chelsea Spear, a local director from Medford , MA has directed four short films -- Alphabet, The Hidden, The Unhappy Medium, and Mayday on the Mystic -- and two installations, "Films About Water" and "Orangutan". Her work has screened at venues from Ladyfest Austin to the side of a large building in Zurich , and Spear counts acclaimed film director Guy Maddin and horror movie host Mr. Lobo among her fans. Currently you can find her walking dogs, knitting a sweater, or hard at work on her silent feature, The Ballad of Burd Janet . |
