Design group WOW was born in Sendai in 1997. Immediately, they took charge of visual ideas and creative work for TV-CF and PV where they received much attention from both the media and the public. In 2000, WOW set-up shop in Tokyo. WOW has visualized many ideas using advanced graphics as a tool and continues to create original works to pursue new expression some of which have been nominated in the film festivals around the globe.
In 2004, the creative unit Juryoku was formed by Takuma Nakaji, Yusuke Mizuno, and Kaoru Kudo. Juryoku's 2004 work,"The Poetry of Suburbs," was nominated for the Resfest 2005 World Tour. Their new work "fit-ment" is a collaboration with Graf and Yoshio Kubo and is a real-time motion graphic work in which the composition goes through infinite changes as it reacts to an interface.
