Lorcan Finnegan graduated from Dun Laoghaire College of Art, Design and Technology with a degree in Design Communication in 2001. In 2002 he moved to London to work for Zeppotron, the comedy wing of Endemol UK. During his two years there, he was responsible for writing, directing and producing live action and animated content for mobile giants Three. He also did special effects and title design for shows produced by Zeppotron for Channel Four and E4. In 2004 Lorcan moved back to Ireland to set up Lovely Productions, a design and production company, with creative collaborators Steven Courtney and Brunella Cocchiglia. Since then Lorcan has written and directed a short film for the Irish Film Board called Changes, a short film for MTV called Tru Lav, a three part sketch show called The Lovely Show for the Wildlight Channel and produced a 13 part series for TV3 called Wonderscreen.
He is currently in production on two music videos, a collaborative illustration project, an independent film on climate change and developing his first feature film. Defaced was created for the Irish Film Board.
